• Completed his BCom (Accounting) degree at the former Randse Afrikaanse Universiteit (RAU) in Auckland Park, Johannesburg. In 2005, after completing his studies at RAU, he commenced doing his three years training contract with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in order to become a qualified professional. In the same year he successfully completed an Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt Hons) degree at the University of South Africa (Unisa), and as a result attained his Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA). In 2007 he completed his articles with the firm De Villiers Myburgh Incorporated, and was admitted membership to both the Southern African Institute for Business Accountants (SAIBR) and the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners (SAIT) in 2010.

 

• He acted as the group financial manager of a group of companies engaged in the steel and manufacturing industry from 2008 to 2012.

 

• In 2010 he founded Meiring & Meiring Inc. an assurance practice providing professional services to a variety of Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME’s) including individuals, sole proprietors, body corporates, partnerships, trusts, close corporations, private companies and attorneys, and started practicing on a full-time basis in July 2012.

 

• He gained extensive audit, accounting, taxation, statutory, legal and consulting experience from various industries during his professional career. His insight, enthusiasm, diligence, experience and academic background added exceptional value to ventures he was involved with.

 

 

 

 

I. Meiring (Managing Director)

 

B.Com. Hons. Management Accounting (North West University);  B.Com. Management Accounting (North West Univeristy);  Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), Member of the Chartered Institute for Management Accountants based in the UK.

 

• She completed her BCom (Management Accounting) degree at the North West University, Potchefstroom campus in 2009.  In 2010 she continued full time at the North West University and successfully completed her BCom Hons in Management Accounting.

 

• In  2011 she was accepted to became part of Imperial Logistic’s graduate programme, specifically designed to obtain the necessary practical experience (TOPCIMA, Part A) in order to become a qualified professional in Financial Management.  In 2011 she also enrolled as a CIMA student to complete the theoretical part of the CIMA qualification (TOPCIMA).  In 2012 she completed TOPCIMA, Part B and the practical experience was completed in 2015.

 

• She was then promoted to a Financial Accountant and gained experience in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Financial Management during her professional career at Imperial Logistics.

 

• In 2017 she joined Meiring & Meiring Inc.

 

 

 

C. Oosthuyzen (Randburg Office)

 

B.Com Financial Accounting (North West University, Potchefstroom) in 2005.

 

• In 2006, after completing her studies she commenced doing her three years training contract with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) in order to become a qualified professional.

 

• After completing her articles in 2008, she became a member of SAIPA.

 

• She entered the corporate environment by joining a leading company in the engineering field as their Finance Manager in 2008.

 

• She gained experience in audit, financial management and reporting, system/process implementations, BBBEE and project management and reporting.
